Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme park asked Airwurx to help to repaint their carousel. Given the scale of the job this is being done over a few seasons.

 

The horses were extremely tired, damaged and covered in layers and layers of paint.

 

Due to the existing paint being of a mixed and unknown type it was important to strip and sand them as much as possible, this avoids possible reactions but also its the correct way to do things. 

 

Under the paint was a host of damage and some previous, non sympathetic repairs that needed attention. Following the repairs a high quality primer was used to seal everything up before high quality, automotive grade base coats and protected with a high solid automotive clear coat.

 

The decorative art panels are destined to undergo restoration during the closed season 25/26.​​
