Paint refresh was the order of the day for the much loved ride at Pleasurewoods Hill family themepark located in Suffolk.
Taking place of the closed season 2022-2023 Airwurx was asked to not only freshen up the old paint but to introduce a 'more whale' look to the 16 carriages.
The final paint took on a much more blue whale colour wit addition of the barnacles and coloured eyes. The seating area was made to look less menacing than the original by making the seats look like they were part of the wales tongue. After all its a kids ride and the previous dark black areas needed improvement.
Final outcome was well worth the effort.
Background work or prep is one of those tings tat can not be rushed. The carriages needed a lot of attention to take them from what they were to the refreshed items above.
