OVERVIEW

To create a ww2 themed paint job.

Client Darren came to Airwurx with a bike already having a pin up and some ww2 themed logos painted on it by a previous owner.  Darren felt they could be better and also wanted to build on the overall theme. 

​

A fresh new basecoat of olive green was added along with artwork based around the B24 Liberator Bombers of ww2 which happened to be stationed just a few minuets of the Airwurx studio in the 1940's.

​

The pin up was added with some light patina. It was important to Darren it wasn't 'too perfect' as it needed to reflect the nose art of that era.

The Harley actually sports the tail number and bomber groups logos -

 

467th Bomber Group. Based at RAF Rackheath
